Schaumburg-Lippe 1762 ducat Fr-3069
This specimen was lot 2514 in Künker sale 439 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €3,200 (about US$4,402 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHAUMBURG-LIPPE, GRAFSCHAFT, SEIT 1807 FÜRSTENTUM Wilhelm Friedrich Ernst, 1748-1777. Dukat 1762, Bückeburg. GOLD. R Knapper Schrötling, leichte Auflagen, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (county of Schaumburg-Lippe, William Frederick Ernest, 1748-77, ducat of 1762, Buckeburg mint. Rare, tight flan, light deposits, very fine to extremely fine. very fine to extremely fine.)"
This tiny state could not support an extensive coinage. The only other gold coins of this ruler are a ten thaler of 1763 (KM 19) and a ducat of 1773 (KM 24).
