This specimen was lot 47177 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Saxony. 2 Neu-Groschen (20 Pfennig), 1850-F. Dresden Mint. Friedrich August II. PCGS MS-64." This type was struck 1841-56 and is common in all grades. One thaler was thirty neu-groschen.
Recorded mintage: 380,000.
Specification: 3.11 g, 0.312 fine silver, 21.1 mm diameter.
