This specimen was lot 2110 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabruck, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €6,500 (about US$9,046 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SACHSEN, KURFÜRSTENTUM, Friedrich August I. 1694-1733 (August der Starke). 1/4 Dukat 1726, Dresden. GOLD. RR Prachtexemplar. Winz. Prägeschwäche, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Germany, electorate of Saxony, Frederick Augustus I (Augustus the Strong), quarter ducat of 1726, Dresden mint. Very rare, choice example, slightly weakly struck, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
The SCWC records this tiny coin for six dates between 1710-33 but not 1726.
