This specimen was lot 2287 in Künker sale 352 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €17,000 (about US$23,659 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"REICHSGOLDMÜNZEN, SACHSEN-MEININGEN, Georg II. 1866-1914. 20 Mark 1900. R Von polierten Stempeln, vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. Erworben bei der Firma Adolph Hess Nachf. Frankfurt am Main. (Germany, unified gold coinage of the empire, duchy of Saxe-Meiningen, George II, 1866-1914, twenty mark of 1900. Rare, from polished dies, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"
