This specimen was lot 1484 in Sincona sale 73 (Zürich, November 2021), where it sold for 1,200 CHF (about US$1,544 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALY | House of Savoy / Sardinia. Carlo Felice, 1821-1831. 80 Lire 1828, Genova. Selten. Nur 8'961 Exemplare geprägt. Gutes sehr schön. (Italy, kingdom of Sardinia, Charles Felix, 1821-31, eighty lire of 1828, Genoa mint. Rare. Only 8,961 pieces struck, Good very fine.)"
This type was struck at Turin and Genoa (shown here) 1823-31. While not rare, it is scarce, particularly in nice condition.
