This specimen was lot 1576 in Steve Album sale 16 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2013), where it sold for $118. The catalog description[1] noted, "SARAWAK: Charles V. Brooke, rajah, 1917-1946, AR 20 cents, 1927-H, one year type, surface hairlines, EF." Sarawak, a British colony on the northwest coast of Borneo, was ruled by a dynasty of white rajahs from 1841 to 1946. This type was issued 1927 only from Heaton. It is a reduced weight version of the billon twenty cents issued in 1920 and is the last date of the denomination.

Recorded mintage: 250,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 5.08 g, 0.400 fine silver, .065 troy oz ASW.
