This specimen was lot 1575 in Steve Album sale 16 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SARAWAK: Charles V. Brooke, rajah, 1917-1946, AR 10 cents, 1920-H, one year type, EF." Sarawak, a British colony on the northwest coast of Borneo, was ruled by a dynasty of white rajahs from 1841 to 1946. This type was issued 1920 only from Heaton. It is rather scarce as Sarawak converted to a copper-nickel ten cents (KM 16) that same year. Billon five (KM 13) and twenty cents (KM 17) were also issued in 1920.

Recorded mintage: 150,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 2.71 g, 0.400 fine silver, .035 troy oz ASW.
