This specimen was lot 1150 in Stephen Album internet sale 28 (Santa Rosa, CA, July 2024), where it sold for $60. The catalog description^[1] noted, "SAN MARINO: Republic, 5 centesimi, 1894-R, PCGS graded MS63 RB." This appears to be the first coin specifically struck for circulation in San Marino. It was likely made in Rome by the unified kingdom of Italy. This is the commonest of three dates (1864, 1869 and 1894).
