Künker sale 384, lot 2554

This specimen was lot 2554 in Künker sale 384 (Osnabrück, March 2023), where it sold for €3,800 (about US$4,910 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Matthäus Lang von Wellenburg, 1519-1540. 1/6 Guldiner 1521. Stempel von Ulrich Ursenthaler d. Ä. RR Attraktives Exemplar mit hübscher Patina, sehr schön-vorzüglich. Exemplar der Slg. Salzburg, Auktion Spink & Son 12, Zürich 1984, Nr. 35. (archbishopric of Salzburg, Matthäus Lang of Wellenburg, 1519-40, one-sixth guldiner of 1521, dies by Ulrich Ursenthaler. Very rare, attractive example with handsome patina, very fine to extremely fine.)"
