Goldberg sale 128, lot 1559

This specimen was lot 1559 in Goldberg sale 128 (Los Angeles, June 2022), where it sold for $2,640. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Russia. 200 Roubles, 1995. One Ounce. Seated Lynx. Only 1,750 pieces struck of this one year type. Scarce. NGC graded Proof 68 Ultra Cameo." This NCLT honoring the lynx was accompanied by a gold fifty rubles and a silver three rubles and 25 rubles.

Recorded mintage: 1,750 proofs.

Specification: 31.10 g, 0.999 fine gold.
