This specimen was part of lot 32288 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $1,440. The catalog description[1] noted, "Russian Federation 4-Piece Certified gold Bolshoi Ballet Proof Set 1993-(M) NGC, 1) 10 Roubles - PR68 Ultra Cameo, KM-Y416; 2) 25 Roubles - PR68 Ultra Cameo, KM-Y417; 3) 50 Roubles - PR68 Ultra Cameo, KM-Y418; 4) 100 Roubles - PR67 Ultra Cameo, KM-Y419. Moscow mint. A superb set, with full mint brilliance and no significant flaws. AGW 0.90 oz." This gold proof set was released in conjunction with a ballet-themed palladium proof set. In the ensuing years, the price of palladium has risen to where it is now higher than gold.

Recorded mintage: 4,700 plus 1,500 proofs.

Specification: 7.78 g, 0.999 fine gold, 0.250 troy oz AGW.
