This specimen was lot 23204 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $164.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 25 Ruble, 1993-(M). NGC PROOF-69 ULTRA CAMEO. Russian Ballet. Frosted proof with mirrored reflective fields." This product of the Moscow mint was one of a series of ballet themed bullion coins minted in gold and palladium 1993-95. Quarter, half and one ounce coins were also sold.

Recorded mintage: 12,500 + 6,000 proofs.

Specification: 3.11 g, 0.999 fine gold, .10 troy oz AGW.
