This specimen was lot 33741 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "R.S.F.S.R. gold 50 Roubles 1988-(M) PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC, Moscow mint. Nearly flawless, with a heavenly cameo effect. From the final period of the U.S.S.R., and also historical as such." This NCLT honoring the 1,000th anniversary of Russian architecture was accompanied by gold 100 (KM Y214) and platinum 150 rubles (KM Y215).
Recorded mintage: 25,000 proofs.
