This specimen was lot 73133 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2021), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 1/2 Kopek, 1910-CNB. St. Petersburg Mint. Nicholas II. NGC MS-65 Brown. An elegant and enticing Gem, this red-brown specimen offers cartwheel brilliance and some hints of violet as well." This type was struck at St. Petersburg 1894-1900 and 1908-14 in large numbers.
