Russia 1880-SP NF 25 kopeks
This specimen was lot 290 in Sincona sale 65 (Zürich, October 2020), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"25 Kopecks 1880, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB NF. Rare. Attractive patina. NGC MS62. (25 копеек 1880, СПб МД, СПБ НФ. 5,16 г. Биткин 158 (R). Редкие. Привлекательная патина. В слабе NGC MS62.) This type was struck 1861-85 at St. Petersburg. Most dates have small mintages but 1877 and 1878 are common. The weight was changed to 5 g, 0.900 fine in 1886 with no change in silver content.
