This specimen was lot 473 in Sincona sale 78 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 600 CHF (about US$719 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA | Russian Empire and Federation | Nicholas I. 1825-1855, 2 Kopecks 1838, Suzun Mint, SM. Extremely fine-uncirculated." This type was struck 1831-39 at Suzun (shown here) and Ekaterinburg.
