This specimen was lot 313 in Sincona sale 84 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 2,000 CHF (about US$2,693 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, 5 Roubles 1835, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB PD. Extremely fine."
This type was struck 1832-46 for tsar Nicholas I and is the most available five rubles prior to the weight reduction of 1897.
Recorded mintage: 1,440,000.
