Künker sale 354, lot 6091

This specimen was lot 6091 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,183 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSLAND, KAISERREICH, Alexander I. 1801-1825. Rubel 1818, St. Petersburg. Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (empire of Russia, Alexander I, 1801-25, ruble of 1818, St. Petersburg mint. Extremely fine to uncirculated.)"

This type is listed for 1810-26 and is fairly common in circulated condition. This date is slightly cheaper than assayer CП.

Recorded mintage: 16,275,000 (including assayer CП).

Specification: 20.73 g, 0.868 fine silver, this specimen 20.70 g.
