This specimen was lot 73435 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Poltina (1/2 Ruble), 1814-CNB MO. St. Petersburg Mint. Alexander I. PCGS Genuine--Harshly Cleaned, EF Details Gold Shield. Though displaying a fair number of cleaning marks, this example nevertheless presents little evidence of handling and a steel gray appearance to the surfaces." This type is listed for 1810-26 and is somewhat available in circulated condition.

Recorded mintage: 662,000 including assayer PS and 1814/3 overdate.
