Sincona sale 84, lot 214

This specimen was lot 214 in Sincona sale 84 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 260,000 CHF (about US$350,127 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, Polupoltina 1808, St. Petersburg Mint, FG. Excessively rare. The rarest of this type. 75 roubles according to Ilyin. NGC MS61. From the Soedermann Collection, auction SINCONA 12, Zürich, October 2013, lot 429 (price realized: CHF 1,000,000). With the expertise by the Society of Friends of the State Historical Museum, no. 510/13, dated August 6, 2013, signed by I.V. Shiryakov."

This date is not listed in the SCWC. The previous type (KM C123) had a circle around the eagle.
