This specimen was lot 1506 in Jean Elsen sale 165 (Brussels, June 2026), where it sold for €110 (about US$152 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSIE, Alexandre Ier (1801-1825), Cu 5 kopecks, 1806 KM, Suzun. Brisure de coin au revers. Très Beau. (Russia, Alexander I, 1801-25, copper five kopeks of 1806, Suzun mint. Reverse die break, Very Fine.)"

This type was struck 1802-10 at Ekaterinburg and the Suzun mint (shown here). The production of silver five kopeks, suspended during this period, resumed in 1810. This type is not expensive in circulated condition.

Recorded mintage: 5,000,000.

Specification: 51.19 g, copper, 43-44 mm diameter, reeded edge.
