This specimen was lot 13349 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Ruble, 1794-CNBAK. NGC AU-58. Catherine ll (1762-96). Lustrous, attractive and conservatively graded." This type is noted for 1783-96 and is among the common rubles of Catherine II.

Recorded mintage: 895,000.

Specification: 24 g, 0.750 fine silver.
