This specimen was lot 6088 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €300 (about US$418 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSLAND, KAISERREICH, Katharina II. 1762-1796. 1/4 Rubel (Polupoltinnik) 1785, St. Petersburg. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (empire of Russia, Catherine II, 1762-96, quarter ruble or polupoltinnik of 1785, St. Petersburg mint. Very fine to extremely fine.)"
This quarter ruble or polupoltinnik is listed for 1783-96. The mintages are substantial but choice specimens are scarce.
