This specimen was lot 3089 in Goldberg sale 103 (Los Angeles, February 2018), where it sold for $235. The catalog description[1] noted, "Russia. 10 Kopecks (Grivennik), 1784-СПБ. Catherine II. Lightly cleaned. About Uncirculated." This coin, struck in this style 1783-96 at St. Petersburg, is just a little light to be classified as a dime, tho it is one tenth of a ruble. This denomination was also struck in copper.

Recorded mintage: 3,863,000.

Specification: 2.37 g, 0.750 fine silver, .057 troy oz ASW.
