This specimen was lot 24901 in Heritage sale 3030 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $2,115. The catalog description[1] noted, "Siberia. Catherine II copper 10 Kopecks 1775 КМ, Suzun mint, MS62 Brown NGC. Sharply struck, with deep reddish-brown patina over lustrous, minimally marked surfaces. An exceptional example of the grade." This type was struck 1766-81 for circulation in Siberia. Many survive today but few in choice condition.
