This specimen was lot 22927 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Anaheim, CA, August 2016), where it sold for $223.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 20 Kopek, 1774-CNB. Catherine II (the Great) (1762-96). NGC AU-58. A high grade example with most surviving examples having seen heavy circulation. Toned with nearly white centers on both sides." This type was issued 1766-76 from Moscow and St. Petersburg (shown here).
