From Stack's Bowers 2017 NYINC sale, lot 7135

This specimen was lot 7135 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $822.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. 10 Kopek (Grivennik), 1747. Elizabeth (1741-61). NGC MS-61. Solidly struck giving sharp devices and good detail. Lightly toned and lustrous throughout with no detracting marks or handling. Quite attractive." This type was issued 1746-57 from the Moscow mint. It is fairly available.

Recorded mintage: 2,210,000.

Specification: 2.42 g, 0.802 fine silver, 20 mm diameter.
