Sincona sale 19, lot 177

This specimen was lot 177 in Sincona sale 19 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 150 (about US$188 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Grivennik 1742, Red Mint. Small scratch and planchet defect. Good very fine. Collector’s note: 'R. C A M O Д . B C E P O C.'" This type of 1742-46 is a product of the Moscow mint tho it is not so marked.

Recorded mintage: 560,000.

Specification: 2.59 g, 0.750 fine silver, this specimen 2.46 g.
