This specimen was lot 55 in Sincona sale 84 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 325 CHF (about US$438 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, Rouble 1744, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB. 2.5 roubles according to Petrov. Very fine. Nicely toned."
This type was struck at Moscow and St. Petersburg 1742-51. This is the first ruble where both mints used mintmarks; mintmaster's initials were added later.
