This specimen was lot 75410 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA. Denga (1/2 Kopek), 1737. Ekaterinburg or Moscow Mint. Anna. NGC AU-55 Brown. Remarkably sharp strike detail for this issue, a bit off center but with most raised devices intact. The surfaces exhibit some luster and deep brown patina." This type is recorded for 1730-54 and is noted as common. The mintage is not known but it is priced lower than later dates with mintages over eighty million. The denomination is written ДЕНГА (denga).
