Sincona sale 93, lot 1032

This specimen was lot 1032 in Sincona sale 93 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 30 CHF (about US$42 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RUSSLAND Kaiserreich und Föderation, Peter I. 1682-1725, Polushka 1721, Naberezhny Mint. Fast vorzüglich, About Extremely Fine."

This type was struck 1718-22, some with Cyrillic letters, as here, but most with Arabic numerals. One hundred kopeks make a ruble.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 1.02 g, copper, this specimen 0.98 g.
