This specimen was lot 4 in Sincona sale 78 (Zürich, October 2022), where it sold for 1,000 CHF (about US$1,199 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "RUSSIA | Russian Empire and Federation | Peter I. 1682-1725, Poltina 1704, Red Mint. 4 roubles according to Petrov. Very fine. Some scratches on obverse." This is among the very first milled coinage of Russia. It is dated using Cyrillic letters. Other poltinas were struck in Moscow in 1704 with the MД mintmark.
