This specimen was lot 33642 in Heritage sale 3064 (Chicago, April 2018), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "Carol I Leu 1884-B MS61 NGC, Bucharest mint. Full luster and only slightly blemished surfaces lend this example, and especially the bust of Carol I, a semi-medallic, magisterial quality." This is the commoner of two dates, 1884 and 1885 and is readily available in circulated condition.

Recorded mintage: 1,000,000.

Specification: 5 g, 0.835 fine silver, .134 troy oz ASW, 22 mm diameter.
