This specimen was lot 2291 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 2,000 CHF (about US$2,387 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ITALY | Retegno, Antonio Teodoro Trivulzio, 1676-1678 3 Filippi 1676 (?). Selten. Gutes sehr schön. Kleiner Randfehler. (Germany, county of Retegno, Antonio Teodoro Trivulzio, 1676-1678, triple filippi of 1676? Rare, Good very fine, Minor edge nick.)"

Coinage from this locale, a commune in the duchy of Milan, is scanty and rare. This type, which has two Davenport numbers, is accompanied by a double (Dav-4135), one (Dav-4137), half and quarter filippo.
