This specimen was lot 1440 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 950 CHF (about US$1,378 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Preussen, Königreich, Wilhelm II. 1888-1918. 10 Mark 1895 A, Berlin. Seltener Jahrgang. NGC MS62. Das neben einem weiteren durch NGC höchstbewertete Exemplar. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, William II, 1888-1918, ten mark of 1895, Berlin mint. Rare date, Tied with one other for finest certified by NGC.)"
This type, issued 1890-1913, is common and is a product of the Berlin mint (mintmark "A").
Recorded mintage: 28,948, a scarce date.
