This specimen was lot 46735 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Oklahoma City, OK, August 2025), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Prussia. 1/2 Groschen, 1866-A. Berlin Mint. Wilhelm I. PCGS MS-66. Highest graded example by PCGS. From the Richard Margolis Collection." This type was struck 1861-73 at Berlin ("A"), Hannover ("B") and Frankfurt ("C") and was the smallest billon denomination after the reform of 1821. It was worth 1/60 of a thaler. Most dates are common.
