This specimen was lot 2546 in Sincona sale 83 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 2,800 CHF (about US$3,747 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "Brandenburg / Prussia, Friedrich III. (I.), 1688-1713. Dukat 1707 CG, Königsberg. Sehr selten. Sehr schön. Kleine Kratzer und etwas gewellt (Very rare, Very fine, Small scratches and slightly wavy flan)." This type was struck 1707-11 and is one of several ducats struck in 1707. We don't know if it's rare but it is definitely expensive; Prussia is a popular state among collectors.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 3.49 g, 0.986 fine gold. This specimen is 3.40 g.
