This specimen was lot 30465 in Heritage sale 3037 (New York, January 2015), where it sold for $2,820. The catalog description[1] noted, "João V gold 1600 Reis 1725 MS62 NGC, Lisbon mint. Brilliant Mint State, very attractive for the designation with an impressive strike, fully lustrous surfaces and limited handling marks evident. A very scarce type, conditionally rare in this preservation and undervalued in KM." This type is catalogued in the SCWC as a one escudo even tho it is about 6% heavier than a Spanish escudo. It was struck in Lisbon 1724-49 and scarcer than catalog values indicate.
