This specimen was lot 11345 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €240 (about US$250). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/192 Taler (Witten), 1690 - ILA. Pommern-Stettin. Karl XI. NGC AU-55. Rare single year type by mintmaster Johann Leonhard Arensburg. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type, the smallest denomination struck in north Germany, was issued 1690 only. One thaler was 192 witten. Sweden partitioned Pomerania with Brandenburg at the peace of Westphalia and ruled her portion until 1815.
