Sincona sale 43, lot 2604

This specimen was lot 2604 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 80 CHF (about US$96 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"POLEN, Johann Kasimir, 1649-1668 6 Groschen 1661 TT. Bromberg. Gutes sehr schön. (kingdom of Poland, John Casimir, 1649-88, six groschen of 1661, Bromberg mint. Good very fine.)"

This type was struck 1650, 1656-67 along with 18 groszy (tympf) and 3 groschen. For 1661, mintmasters TLB, -GBA, -NG, -AT, -TT are noted.
