This specimen was lot 32317 in Heritage sale 3081 (New York, January 2020), where it sold for $19,200. The catalog description[1] noted, "Poland: Johann Casimir gold 2 Ducat 1660-TT AU58 NGC, Bromberg mint. A lustrous offering with near-uncirculated appeal, the surfaces aur[e]ous and retaining considerable glowing brilliance, the devices nearly unworn, save for a nearly undetectable degree of rub to the higher points of the design. Very scarce, and exceptionally desirable so well-preserved." This double ducat was struck 1659-61 with various mintmasters, all rare.
