These proofs were struck in Philadelphia for the Philippines in 1908 only. The circulation issues were made in San Francisco. These coins are listed in the Red Book as well as the SCWC and are collected as part of the United States series. All the American issues were demonetized in the 1960's as part of a currency reform.
