This specimen was lot 1477 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"Goldgulden o. J. (1427-28). Bacharach. Sehr schön. (Electoral Pfalz, goldgulden without date (1427-28), very fine.)"
The Palatinate, on the border with France, was divided several times. Friedberg lists this type from the Bacharach, Heidelberg, Neustadt, Oppeheim and Ruesselheim mints.
