This specimen was lot 1850 in Goldberg sale 112 (Los Angeles, September 2019), where it sold for $420. The catalog description[1] noted, "Papua New Guinea. 100 Kina, 1978. Bird-wing butterfly. In original sealed cachet. Choice Brilliant Proof." This NCLT was struck, packaged and sold by the Franklin mint.
