This specimen was lot 1798 in Goldberg sale 112 (Los Angeles, September 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Italian States: Papal/Roman States. Zecchino, 1783. Year IX. Pius VI, 1775-1799. The Church seated on cloud. Reverse: Papal arms. Lustrous. Rare date. NGC graded AU-58." The SCWC separates KM-1029 from KM-1046 (struck 1776 and 1783-84) by the shape of the shield on the obverse but Friedberg lumps them together. It is the last papal zecchino.
