Papal States 1734 scudo d'oro Fr-224

from the Tom Fitzgerald Collection

This scudo d'oro was struck for Clement XII (1730-40), one of three different scudi d'oro (Fr-220, -222, -224) from his reign. The last scudo d'oro was minted in 1738, zecchini being issued thereafter.
