This specimen was lot 34804 in Heritage sale 3067 (Long Beach, September 2018), where it sold for $192. The catalog description[1] noted, "Netherlands: Overyssel. Provincial Daalder 1612 AU Details (Cleaned) NGC. Bold and memorable, with an inspiring obverse portrait. Though cleaned, the piece retains better eye appeal than many of the crudely struck examples of the type." This type was struck 1606-29 and 1651 simultaneously with the lighter and lower fineness lion dollar (Dav-4860). It is priced fairly low but is seldom seen.

Recorded mintage: 345,155 for 1606-29.
