Olmutz 1693 3 kreuzer
This specimen was lot 3485 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$151 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH Olmütz, Bistum, Karl II. von Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn, 1664-1695. 3 Kreuzer 1693, Kremsier. Gutes vorzüglich. Feine Patina. (Austria, bishopric of Olmütz, Charles II of Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn, 1664-1695, three kreuzer of 1693, Kremsier mint. About Uncirculated, Nicely toned.)"
Many varieties exist of this basic design struck throughout Karl II's reign; this subtype was struck 1693 only. Three kreuzer was 1/30 of a reichs thaler. Olmütz, then in Moravia, is now Olomuoc in the Czech Republic.
