This specimen was lot 47140 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $125. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Nuremberg. 2-1/2 Kreuzer, 1774-R. PCGS MS-66." This type was struck 1774 and 1778-79 and is not rare. One convention thaler was 48 of these coins.
