Sincona sale 63, lot 431

This specimen was lot 431 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 3,000 CHF (about US$3,759 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHLAND | Nurnberg, City. Sebaldusgoldgulden 1686. St. Sebaldus mit Kirchenmodell. Fast vorzüglich. Kleine Henkelspur und minimal gewellt. (Germany, city of Nurnberg, goldgulden of 1686, St. Sebaldus with model of church. About extremely fine, Small mount mark and slightly wavy.)"

This type was struck 1623-26, 1633-37, 1642-46, 1686, along with KM 72 (eagle obverse and "N" reverse).
